Sensitive Monster

“BEING” is a video project that explores the passage of time, birth, the creation of the past, life in the present, the reality of the future, and the eventual end. These themes are expressed through four performers, including the author, who together create this story. The dance choreography, created by the author, is deeply connected to the core idea of the piece. Each performer tells their own story, while time—unplanned and fluid leaves traces in the form of an infinite spiral. The past, present, and future dynamically intertwine and create mutual connections. The black color, bold and ephemeral, forms the story of birth, life, and death. In working on the video, we focused on a bird’s-eye perspective, providing theaudience with a comprehensive view of the overall concept.

“PROCESS” In the video, I appear as the author of the entire project concept. The video aims to show the audience the way of thinking and shaping the entire project, as well as the formation of personality and individuality. It reflects on our existence and the reason for being. It is also connected with the three main chapters of the book—Metamorphosis of Eyes, Shards of Presence, and Feline Charm. The video is in authentic black and white tones.
